TWO new reward tiers, AND a new video!

Hello awesome backers!

This is a busy busy Tuesday, because I'm super excited to have TWO new reward tiers up, and a video telling you all about them as well as all about the three existing premium costume tiers!

Here's a look at the two new ones:

Once again, I took to the living room with five costumes, two dress-forms and my terrible microphone (fixing that!) to tell you all about WHY these outfits are great, and entice the costume-lovers out there to go ahead and back! 

After all, this project only happens if we hit that funding goal! Let's make it happen!

You asked, and I do my very best to deliver!

"Can we see what's in the book?" Why yes you can... here's a teaser chapter-

Final copyediting and layout is pending- I made the text in this sample larger so it's somewhat more readable at this size... but it gives you a taste of both visual and writing style. I hope you enjoy!

In the category of delivering to you what you want...

I feel a little bad about Tier 14 selling out in less than a day, so TWO NEW premium reward tiers are coming Tuesday, along with a new video... keep an eye out! 

What are the tiers? A black Victorian wool coat with black and white striped lining, and a red and black Edwardian-inspired ensemble. 

Love the Victorian Era? So do I, and I found this...

Also on Kickstarter, I'll admit it's not new to me, I backed The Boston Metaphysical Society: Book of Demons campaign several months ago (and received a gorgeous comic with such a good story that I now want the previous issues), and I've backed this new offering as well...

Based on the popular steampunk supernatural graphic novel about an ex-Pinkerton detective, a spirit photographer, and a genius scientist who battle supernatural forces in late 1800s Boston, Boston Metaphysical Society: The Ghost Ship audio drama follows the story of our three main characters, Samuel, Caitlin, and Granville as they investigate a mysterious ghost ship that has sailed into Boston Harbor and is not only killing those who board her, but luring children to their death.

This is a standalone eight-episode series based during the timeline of the original six issue mini-series. Each episode will be approximately 30 minutes long.

More reward tiers added, since one has SOLD OUT!

Because of you awesome folks, we are at 45% funded, only SIX days in, which I am told (by Kickstarter ninjas and veterans) is great progress.

Two of the three gold corset reward tiers have already been snapped up, and since we're in the first week I added a tier with another one-a very special one- a matched corset and bustle set in blue dupioni silk. It's listed as Tier 9.2 

I've also added a reward tier featuring something often neglected in the Steam-Vic wardrobe... outerwear! Inspired by the photo below, the mantle and muff set are made of ethically-sourced fur, and features vintage notions.

The mantle rests on the shoulders but you can see that is has more structure than the fur in the above photo, just resting on the shoulders, so you don't need to hold onto it to keep it in place. Lined in royal blue taffeta- pure luxury. The design being open-size, able to fit anyone, is also a major bonus.

If you've been considering pledging, and wanting a unique reward, it might be time- this is literally a one of a kind set. More details under Tier 14.

Our first update! Thank you all so much. We've come so far in so little time...

Less than four days into the campaign, we're more than 1/3 funded- incredible.

We've already been awarded Kickstarter's own "Project We Love" badge- impressive. 

One of the premium tiers is sold out, and another is half gone- excellent...

... excellent because I'll be adding two additional premium tiers to tempt those of you who may have missed out.  I'm adding another corset and bustle set AND, by request, a fabulous ermine-look Victorian-inspired mantle and muff, which fits folks of all sizes! 💛

Also, watch for a special update on Sunday... I'll keep it mysterious, but it's something I had aimed to have it up before the launch... fie on my head cold. I think that's enough news for one update- I'll be in touch soon.
