Speaking of games, there's a game with a campaign running on Kickstarter right now that I'd like to mention. I have been a fan of NerdBurger Games for... oh, many years, and have backed a number of their campaigns. Getting right to it- the games are just plain fun, and you should take a look!

Surprise #1, for previous backers only, my SUPER-SECRET early launch is today at 11am, an hour before everyone else is aware of the launch. Once you see the rewards, you'll know why this is important- some are VERY limited!

Hello lovely backers!
I know I'm launching Cogs Aplenty in just three days, but I HAD to show you this- I figure you'll appreciate it, having backed The Victorian Collection.
I am finishing up the video for the "Cogs Aplenty: A Steampunk Murder Mystery Game" (Get notified when it launches here!) and one of the video clips was just TOO cute not to share. I really think my fuzzy little boy Garrus is going to hit the big time!
I definitely think I've got the feline market cornered, at least. 😍
Oh! If you didn't know, the awesome artist and author, Nathan Lueth, who has done the cover art for the Cogs Aplenty game box is also running a Kickstarter! Concrete Arcanum is a collection of stories by multiple comic artists on the theme of urban magic... on point for the season, and a great gift idea!

It was brought to my attention that my last update had a broken link in it, which is terribly sad- this link would direct anyone who may have missed it to the book YOU all helped to get printed!
So, since we're two weeks out from the launch of the Steampunk Murder Mystery Game, this is just a lil quick update to say, if you know someone who missed it, or you're wanting to get your holiday shopping done early, YES you can still get my book.

If for some reason someone you know missed the Kickstarter... or, I guess if you suddenly decided you want more copies, they are up for sale now HERE on Etsy. and may be at Amazon, Barnes and Noble, and a local bookshop or two!
Whew! What a wild experience, writing and designing and printing my first book! And I couldn't be happier that you were along for the ride.
But I can't sit back and relax... I have more publications planned, both long-term and in the immediate!
In the immediate, I am writing.....
A STEAMPIUNK MURDER MYSTERY GAME!
Yes, a mystery! It'll be a "murder mystery dinner" style set-up, but of course you can play it without a dinner. All you need is people who like to have fun, and don't mind puns. Because hoo-baby, will there be a lot!
Much like the Kickstarter for my book, there will be the opportunity to back at multiple levels, with both digital and in-hand rewards. There'll EVEN be a level where you can be one of the few to play in in the live-test of the game, with a delicious (and NOT deadly!) dinner included!
There will be MURDER! There will be MYSTERIES OF THE AETHER! There will be AIRSHIPS, AUTOMATONS and CLUES to unravel in "COGS APLENTY: A steampunk Murder Mystery Game"! Best yet, the characters are written non-gendered, so you can play ANY character you'd like!
Launching on October 13th, ONE month from now...
In other, closer, and very exciting news-
one of our favorite Kickstarter veterans has another project launching SOON... check out Nathan Lueth's newest project, "Concrete Arcanum", an actual anthology full of great stories by comic artists and authors! It's kinda perfect timing, being Septemberween, because it's a collection of supernatural and fantasy comics.
And so, for the next couple of weeks, I will finish writing, putting together printing quotes, and fine-tuning the gears of this next, fun project!
