Hello awesome backers!

And a happy holiday season to you, whatever or whether you celebrate!

Just a quick note- I'm very pleased to say that over 80% of backers have completed the survey, and we are well on our way to getting final numbers for the printed rewards! If you haven't completed the survey yet, please do!- This is how I know where to send your rewards (physical AND digital!).

In other news, progress with layout and editing is moving right along, and I also hope to have some proof previews for the bookmarks and mini-prints in the next update!

Questions about BackerKit Survey "credit".

Hello awesome backers!

I've had a couple questions about BackerKit's surveys.

The primary purpose of the surveys is to gather the information I need to fulfill your backer rewards: your contact information/address and the name you'd like on the backer page in the book. 

There IS the opportunity to add items on, like a bookmark set or another copy of the hardcover book.

IF you chose the "no reward" tier, OR pledged above the selected tier (for example, if you backed at the $40 level but pledged $60 total) there will be a "credit" for the amount beyond assigned rewards. You can just ignore the "credit" if your intent was to give above and beyond the reward tier.

Yes, the funds from the campaign HAVE been collected, you don't NEED to do anything else- that's done. Even if it says "credit", you can click past and complete the survey.

I hope this clears up any possible confusion.

Surveys are going out!

Hello awesome backers!

It's official!- Surveys from BackerKit are going out and should arrive in your email inbox by Wednesday! Please take time over the next week or so to confirm the information requested in the surveys... it is necessary in order to send your rewards!

You'll also have the opportunity to purchase add-ons that you may have missed or that were part of a different reward tier!

Of course, I'll be checking in with you again with exciting updates as the book's text, photos and layout are finalized, and as I get timelines of the printing process!

BackerKit surveys are coming!

Well, it's been just over a week since the successful completion of the campaign! 💛💛💛

Soon, you’ll receive an email from us with a special link to your BackerKit survey. It’s important to respond to your survey as quickly as you can since we need this information to fulfill your rewards.

You don’t need to create a BackerKit account to fill out your survey. When you receive the email with the survey, click the survey link to respond. Answer the questions about your reward preferences, provide shipping information, and purchase add-on items if you like. You don’t have access to this survey link yet, but it will be available soon via email!

After you respond to your survey, you can go back later and change your responses at any time before we close the surveys and get our final counts.

If you need to review your information or pledge status, you can return to your survey by clicking the link in your survey email or requesting your survey link under "Lost your survey?" on our BackerKit project page at https://the-victorian-collection.backerkit.com.

If you used your Facebook credentials to log in to your Kickstarter account, the BackerKit survey is sent to the email address you use for your Facebook account. If you have another email address that you prefer to use, please contact support at https://the-victorian-collection.backerkit.com/faq.

An exciting finish to the campaign-

Hello awesome backers! 

First things first, THANK YOU to each and every one of you- we went above and beyond our funding goal, and it was an AMAZING first campaign for me! 

I really enjoyed closing it out livestreaming with those of you who stopped by to listen to a couple of random stories and check out a few really useful books for design ideas and patterns. :)

Watch your email in about a week for the surveys to arrive- this will give me important reward and shipping information!

Beyond that, I am going to be very busy scheduling the last photoshoot for the book, approving proofs and getting the files ready to send off to the printer. 

Look for my next update after the first of the year unless something important comes up. Once again, thank you for backing the project and I hope you have a terrific holiday.
